EcoPad Tablet Design Runs Without External Power Source

EcoPad Tablet is an eco-friendly tablet design features by Jun-se Kim, Yonggu Do and Eunha Seo. Ecopad is very unique, to recharge its battery Ecopad doesn’t need an external source of energy. Ecopad will turns every touch or press on its touchscreen display into electricity. On account of its nano piezoelectricity film on its touchscreen display.

The Ecopad Tablet concept was handed an exceptional award in Fujitsu and designboom’s ‘A Life with Future Computing‘ design competition ready for its innovative way to juicing up.

The designers from the Ecopad Tablet point out that this concept generates electricity due to the touches on its touchscreen display. The concept is actually Yonggu Do, Jun Se Kim, and Eun Ha Seo from Korea. According to the designers, statistically on average, users press their touch screens over 10,000 times 24 hours. In order that they have contrived of any ingenious system dubbed simply to be the Ecopad, from where the tablet or any similar device can operate the piezoelectricity generated by that ‘tapping’ of touch screens. This basically forgoes needing those cumbersome adapters (and then any source of energy for example), even though the device can literally be self powered throughout a period of days.

The nuvi carries a LCD display and I’m guessing it runs some light OS for instance Honeycomb or Chrome OS. After discovering phones charged because of the user’s voice, now this… charging via touch.
